One of the first principles of sales and especially in representing clients in the Real Estate business is to always “under promise, and over deliver”. While I don’t think this simple and common sense principle of sales necessarily applies to politics. It is the starting premise of this article and I’ll explain what I mean when I close this out.

Thanks to Erick Erickson and his Operation Leper diaries, after viewing comments, several questions have been raised about who is behind the vicious and subversive trashing of Sarah Palin by staffers from the McCain Campaign.

The first obvious question since those engaged in this subterfuge are McCain staffers is, “Does Senator McCain approve of these smears of his running mates?”

Ever since John McCain won the nomination this past March, I have struggled with the idea of casting a vote for him. I know…shocking ain’t it? I’ve tried to hide my contempt for the man and I’m sure many of you are shocked to hear this for the first time. {/sarc}

OK...so there's always been this theory that there are many different planes of existence along the space time continuum. I now know this to be a fact!

What's that? How do I know? Well...I've lived all my life in a world where the Democrat Party was the party of government expansion and socialist engineering of everything from our social lives to the economy. In that other plane of existence it was the Republican Party that is the party of limited government. It's the Republican Party that opposes big government solutions for every social and economic ill.

It has pretty well been proven that the Obama Campaign is indeed taking credit for the ads attacking McCain for a 20 year old non scandal for which he was aquitted. For those of you who haven't read the post earlier...what follows is my thinking before I had the truth pointed out to me and serves as a prime example of why one should never post diaries at 8:00am and why you should check things from every possible angle before posting it...and now...read and learn what happens when you leap before you look...it will ultimately make you a better blogger!

This is an update of a post I did a couple weeks ago before the polls caught up to my thinking. I might add that I was ridiculed and ignored when I posted the first installment of this. I guess the worm has turned as I predicted…hmmm!

Gallup has now proven that the dire predictions of the imminent doom of the Republican Party are not only premature, to the contrary, the opposite is truly possible!

8:30am 9/8/2008. This just reported on Fox News. Apparently the so called objective press are combing through documents and interviewing officials of the Mrs. Wasilla Beauty Pageant amid rumors (wonder where those originated) that she cheated when she won the crown.

Yet more proof that the so called objective media have contracted with the Daily Kos and Move On to generate their story leads!

So now we're investigating Beauty Pageants? What's next? Maybe she didn't really play basketball...but had a doppelganger stand in for he!

I started this as a small quibble post in a thread reply to gamecock's "Schooling Krauthammer" http://www.theminorityreportblog.com/comment/reply/4748#comment_form post but got so long winded with it that I decded to make the post stand on it's own...

I don't think McCain would beat Obama without Palin and in that I have a small but significant quibble with both you and Thompson...I think he was on his way to a blood bath..before he did two major things...and this supports the bulk of your post though it looks at the paradigm from a different angle.

I read the Following article at Politico and just had to reply: Why the media should apologize

I thought this was a joke at the beginning of the column. I thought it was a parody of the Leftist arguments in defense of their despicable treatment of Governor Palin. It turns out it’s a juvenile and amateurish attempt at a serious response to Republican complaints of desperate attacks on Governor Palin by the so called “objective media”.

Sadly, it is a textbook example of obfuscation and straw man arguments that attempts to answer arguments from critics that have never been made by a slavish press who has sold it’s soul to the Obama Campaign.

First off…the straw man. “Republicans are saying the press shouldn’t ask questions about, ’who is Sarah Palin? What is her record? Where does she stand on the issues? And is she qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency?’”
