Maybe it's because I'm no longer in LA that I hadn't heard about the case against Project Islamic Hope founder Najee Ali. Ali can frequently be seen on the LA scene decrying this or that alleged police abuse, always crying racism.I used to turn off the Larry Elders show ever time the SOB came on.
The AFP piece notes, correctly, that Project Islamic Hope's webpage shows pictures of Ali with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Barack Obama. Leading the reader to believe that Ali and his organization are non-partisan.

Washington University has released it’s Battleground 2008 Poll. They have it Obama 46 - McCain 47. The MoE is 3.1%. Interestingly enough, when the respondents where given the open ended question of who they would vote for (with no list of names) McCain wins 40-39%.

Electoral-Vote.com (who’s formula is slower to change than theoneandonlyfinn’s on RedState) has this race virtually tied also in the electoral college: Obama 264 - McCain 261 - Tied 13. The only state undecided is Virginia. You can see in the graph below that McCain has whittled down an impressive lead by Obama.
